Day 31: It is FINISHED!
I’m not sure I fully understand what I’ve gotten myself into with this! Writing for 31 days straight? I think I’ve averaged about one post a month since I started this blog. But I am always up for a challenge! So I am joining many others in this month-long endeavor, make sure to check them out!
Back in July I decided to commit to the 31 Days movement and it didn’t take me very long to figure out what the one thing was that I could write about for an entire month. Adventure. Any and every kind of adventure.
Initially I wanted to have 31 adventures in 31 days. I even gave myself 3 months to start adventuring. But, life happens, and my idea shifted. It has grown and morphed into something I am excited about exploring over the next 4 weeks.
Usually, when I think of adventure I think: adrenaline, risk, fear. But through my brainstorming and research for ideas, I’ve learned something about adventure. I’ve learned that it is so much more than those few words.
I have learned that I don’t have to do something crazy every week in order to fill my “adventure” void. I can make any day an adventure by changing some of the smallest, most simple details.
Now, I realize that you may not be an adrenaline junkie, and you might think you don’t want or need adventure in your life. But, I believe you do. It doesn’t have to be extreme, but it does have to exist. We were designed to experience adventure.
SO, this month I am going to define adventure as this: an attitude, mindset or activity that brings life, breaks comfort-zone barriers or teaches something new.
My hope is that this will be a month of growth. To learn more about myself and the people I do life with. And how to make life an exciting adventure. So without further ado……

Well, I’m excited AND glad it’s not just all about the adrenaline based adventures;)
I had you in mind friend

This will be my second year and I’m writing about 31 Days of Anonymity where I give others an opportunity to write anonymous letters to those they feel they need to.
