So apparently brass bands are all the rage right now??  Ok, maybe not ALL the rage, but a few weeks ago we went to check out the Taste of Charlotte, and these guys were playing on one of the corners.  And later on there was another group of guys with the same vibe.  Check them out!  The little kid was the most entertaining part for me!

Also a few weeks ago, my friend Maria gave us her tickets to the Beatles Tribute (a John Tosco Music Party).  Apparently once a year this party happens, and a bunch of local performers sing Beatles songs, and they throw in a few “sing-a-longs”.  It was so much more fun than I ever thought it would be.  But the BEST part of the night was my other dear friend, Reeve, was one of the performers at the show.  Have you heard this woman sing?  Amazing doesn’t do her justice. She has a certain power in her voice that sends goosebumps up and down your body with every note she hits.  Sadly, we arrived a little late to the event, so our seats were almost to the back of the auditorium.  But I was able to get a video of her song, even though she’s small on the video! Enjoy!

Isn’t there soul in both of these videos?  They are so completely different. But uniquely wonderful.  Amen.
